It is programmed to carryout the interconnection work with the existing 525 mm dia trunk main in two locations at Jones Road one near Railway Gate and the other near door No.49, East Jones Road, due to re-routing of the main for the contruction of Road Under Bridge at Jones Road Railway level crossing. Saidapet on 19.11.2008 (Wednesday) and 20.11.2008 (Thursday). During the above period, the water supply to the Corporation Ward Nos. 132, 133, 134, 135, 136 in Saidapet and West Saidapet may get affected. Hence, public are requested to store enough water for the two days. Any requirement of water in these areas, water will be supplied to the required quantity through mobile lorries for which public may contact the following cell Nos.:
