As part of the Flyover Project work near Rangarajapuram Railway Level Crossing being undertaken by the Corporation of Chennai, Metro Water is at present carrying out the “Diversion and relaying of 600 mm dia DI sewage pumping main (a) From the Junction of North Usman Road – Bazullah Road and upto junction of Chari Street – Mambalam High Road, T.Nagar and it is proposed to take up the interconnection works due to which the sewage collection system is likely to get disturbed due to shut down of T.Nagar Sewage Pumping Station on 28.06.2008 (from 10.00 p.m.) and 29.06.2008 (full day).
By this shut down, the sewage collection system at the following areas is likely to be affected on 28.06.2008 (from 10.00 p.m.) and 29.06.2008 (full day)
1. T.Nagar (Part) Division.114, 119, 126 & 127
2. Nandanam (Part) Division.116
3. CIT Nagar (Part), Division.137
4. Nungambakkam (Part) Division.107 & 108
Public are requested to avoid stagnation and overflowing of sewage by
restricting the let out of the waste water to the extent possible.
Public may also contact Central Complaint Cell, Phone No.2845 4040 (3 lines) and Area Engineer-VIII in Ph.No.2815 3803 / 2815 0059 in the event of any emergency at the above locations.
