The underground sewerage scheme for Pallavaram is being implemented by CMWSS Board as Deposit work for Pallavaram Municipality. This scheme is taken up in 5 packages for simultaneous execution. The contract period is 18 months.
As the works are taken up simultaneously in all the areas in Pallavaram, it is likely that some temporary inconvenience may occur to the public during the execution. In order to redress the grievances arising out of execution, a Co-ordination Meeting is being held at Pallavaram Municipal Office on every Friday at 3.00 p.m. in the presence of Commissioner, Pallavaram Municipality. In the meeting, the Executive Engineers and field officials of CMWSS Board are also participating. The issues arising out of the execution of the project including the public complaints received are discussed and redressed. The general Public and Members of Residents Welfare Associations can also meet the Engineers of CMWSSB for redressal of any grievances and obtain information on the works.
