NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
In view of the proposed construction of subway at M.C.Road railway crossing, near the Government Stanley Hospital, the existing water mains have been shifted away from the subway alignment. In order to effect supply through the rerouted main, it is proposed to take up the interconnection work with existing main at the junction of M.C.Road and Cemetery Road on 27.2.2008 by taking shut down of piped water supply on the day of interconnection work. Consequently, there won’t be piped water supply for the public residing in Divisions 14 to 22 in Area II, Divisions 9,12, 13 and part of Divisions 4,5,6,7,8,10 and 11 of Area I.
