NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

                    The last date for payment of Water & Sewerage Tax/charges for First half year 2005-2006 without surcharge is 31.08.2005. The payment of water & Sewerage tax/charges can be made at the Metro Water Head Office, 10 Area Offices, 59 Depot Offices and 10 Electronic Delivery Service  counters apart from 22 authorised Canara Bank branches during the collection period.  The consumers can also avail the payment facility through online at our Website address
    www.chennaimetrowater.com and   www.billjunction.com
 
        Through Debit/Credit card (VISA & MASTER) at Areas V, VII,VIII & Head Office.     
The consumers can also opt to pay through ECS for which mandate forms available at Area Offices.
The consumers are requested to pay the arrears and current demands within the due date and help the Board to render better service.
       The consumers are informed that they can also avail the Income Tax benefit by paying the Water & sewerage tax in time under Sec.24(6) of Income Tax Act. 1961.
