NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
METRO WAER – TOURIST TRADE FAIR –
WATER QUALITY
Chennai Metro Water has put up its Pavilion at the Tourist Trade Fair-2007 at Island grounds. In the interest of the general Public, Metro Water has arranged to collect water samples from the public in the Metro Water pavilion to test the quality of ground water samples received from the visitors daily.
The public are requested to make use of this facility and give their water samples from Open wells / Bore wells in the Metro Water pavilion. They are requested to bring the water samples to be tested in a 2 litre clean plastic containers/bottles and the public may collect their water quality results from the Metro Water Laboratory at No.1, New Avadi Road, Kilpauk, Chennai-10 after 10 working days time.
The following physical and chemical parameters will be tested at a
concessional cost of Rs.50/- for each sample given in the Trade Fair at Island
Ground. On request, the test report will also be sent through Courier service by
paying an extra Rs.10/-, with their clear postal address (and Telephone Number,
if any):-

In order to test the above parameters, normally Rs.75/- for individual houses and Rs.200/- for flats will be collected for the water samples given at the Water Analysis Laboratory at Kilpauk, Chennai-10.
Hence, public are requested to make use of this opportunity available in the Tourist Industrial Trade Fair at Island Ground for testing ground water at concessional rates.
